Relatively unknown outside of Britain, Royal Porthcawl is an outstanding championship links course in South Wales. Former host of the Walker Cup, Curtis Cup, the Amateur Championship, the Senior Open and more recently the Women’s Open it is a course with great pedigree and superb conditioning making it an unforgettable experience.

Another world class course that remains underappreciated beyond England’s shores. Burnham & Berrow is a magnificent out-and-back links bordering the Bristol Channel. Three of the great British architects Herbert Fowler, C. H Alison and Harry Colt are to thank for the strategically brilliant course that is home to Final Qualifying for the Open Championship.

Perched above the Camel Estuary with sweeping views across to Padstow, the Church Course at St Enodoc is one of England’s most captivating links. A top 50 course in the world on some rankings it will not disappoint those that are willing to make the journey to Rock in Cornwall. A highlight is the exhilarating 6th hole, where the approach must soar over the towering Himalaya bunker.

Set amid the spectacular Braunton Burrows, Saunton’s East Course is one of England’s finest links experiences. Departing from the traditional out and back routing, it twists through dramatic dunes, demanding every shot in the bag. Finish the day with a sunset drink on the terrace, overlooking the unforgettable 18th hole.
