IBT Favourite Courses

An IBT favourite, the Championship Course at Royal Dornoch embodies everything great about links golf. Firm-running turf, strategic design, wildly contoured greens and spectacular coastal views combine to create an unforgettable experience. The impressive new clubhouse has further enhanced the destination, ensuring the off-course experience now matches the brilliance of the golf.

Another firm favourite among the IBT team, Castle Stuart is a modern masterpiece by Gil Hanse and Mark Parsinen. Set beside the Moray Firth with sweeping views to the Black Isle, six holes hug the shoreline while nearly every hole enjoys views of the firth. The iconic clubhouse provides hospitality worthy of the golf.

The Championship Course at Nairn is a classic out-and-back links of exceptional quality on the shores of the Moray Firth. Renowned for its firm turf and immaculate conditioning, it has hosted many of the game’s most prestigious amateur events, including the Walker Cup, Curtis Cup, and both the Men’s and Women’s Amateur Championships.

Less celebrated than some of its Highland neighbours, the Old Course at Moray is a must-play for any visitor to the region. Laid out by Old Tom Morris, it journeys toward Covesea Lighthouse before returning to a memorable finish beside the clubhouse. Avoid the gorse and enjoy the unique backdrop of RAF jets overhead.
