Our itineraries will take in all the great courses in the region from the wild dunes of Carne Golf Links to the newest links course in Ireland at Rosapenna. Tom Doak’s St Patrick Links opened in 2021 to much acclaim and is now amongst the very best courses in the world. A trip to the northwest coast would not be complete without visiting County Sligo and Enniscrone.
Away from the course, you will experience the warmth and charm that make the west of Ireland so special. Rosapenna Hotel provides the perfect base for exploring the north of County Donegal, while the vibrant towns of Donegal and Sligo offer an ideal mix of traditional hospitality, lively pubs and access to the surrounding coastal beauty. St Patrick Links
Opened in 2020, St Patrick’s Links is Ireland’s newest world-class course and a triumph of Tom Doak and Renaissance Golf Design. Since its debut, it has captivated visitors to Rosapenna Golf Resort and quickly earned a place among the world’s top 100 courses. A must-play destination for serious golf enthusiasts.
Carne
The 27 holes at Carne offer some of the most dramatic golf on the planet. Towering dunes dominate the landscape, creating a sense of scale that is both humbling and awe-inspiring. The holes weave brilliantly through this spectacular terrain, making Carne a true golfing pilgrimage and an unforgettable experience.
The County Sligo
In 1927, Harry Colt was commissioned to redesign the course at Rosses Point, now renowned as the home of the prestigious West of Ireland Championship. Spectacular views of Coney Island and the Dartry Mountains provide a stunning backdrop, while on the ground a strategic, beautifully crafted links course delivers golf of the highest quality.
Ballyliffin Glashedy Links
Ballyliffin boasts 45 holes of outstanding links golf, with the Glashedy Links standing out as our favourite. Opened in 1995, it may lack the history of Ireland’s older links, but Pat Ruddy’s design is a masterpiece of wild dunes, dramatic landforms and captivating greens. Ireland’s northernmost course rarely disappoints.
